Aaawaaawh

Simon says aaaaawaaaaawh.

You might think this is a photo of a crazed monster (and he certainly is sometimes). It’s just the high point of a yawn. I found him in his favorite new napping spot under the dappled shade of the staghorn sumac, Rhus typhina. I’m thinking of creating a video of Simon’s yawns. They are big and scary.
