Catnip heaven

Simon says “the catnip harvest is transformational.”

Wow. One day I looked out in the backyard and noticed the catnip had bolted—time to harvest the whole plant rather than cut it back. My neighbor Laura gave it to me when it was a smaller plant and Simon would bury his head in the leaves. Simon says catnip is essential in the landscape for his happiness.
