Simon’s staff makes sure he is comfortable and happy
I’m Barb Rowan and I live with Simon in north Portland, Oregon, in a neighborhood called Overlook. I design brand identities, websites and essential business communications for companies who want to connect with their dream customers.
I’d love to hear about your project, 206-941-0840 or email.
If I can brand a cat, I can brand your company
When I adopted Simon, I noticed that most people were immediately attracted to him because he’s gorgeous—but wary. My intention is to tell Simon’s story as I know him (he allows me and a few others to get close) through photos and captions. I’m also an amateur photographer and enjoy writing and thought this would be a fun way to practice both.
There’s more to this blog than Simon, true?
Yes. This site is an example of my sense of humor, my personality and general attitude, which are important things to consider when you are looking for a web designer to help you navigate the online world where technology and communication intersect.
What is a brand identity?
Brand identity means the words, the pictures and who Simon really is when you can’t gaze into his bright blue eyes. You can get a pretty good gut feeling about him from this site.
What kind of camera do you use?
I use a digital SLR Canon Rebel XSi with a 18-55 mm lens. Sometimes I use my iPhone or iPad. Sometimes friends from the neighborhood or family send me photos of Simon and I’ll credit them.
What can I expect if I subscribe to this blog?
Cat antics, cat naps, and cat-related wisdom from my interpretation of Simon’s point of view. We want to hear from you! Leave comments and share your own cat stories. It’ll be fun. Maybe Simon will offer products to enhance your life. The future is unknown.
